Seamless hollow bodies made in Coswig (Anhalt) - tailor-made and robust
At our plant in Coswig (Anhalt), we manufacture customized, seamless hollow bodies from LDPE using our rotation process. These are used in a variety of applications, for example in the production of toilet tanks, hand-washing stands and plastic pallets.
The resulting products are characterized by their low weight, high robustness and resistance to chemicals. Thanks to the virtually stress-free structure, they are particularly durable and insensitive to pressure and impact.
Our rotation process step by step
Mixing LDPE powder
We use LDPE powder (low-density polyethylene) as the basis for our production and dye it in the desired color.
Fill the mold
The mixed powder is now poured into the mold and sealed.
Heating & rotation
The mold is heated to 260° C under the influence of heat. The LDPE powder begins to melt and is evenly distributed on the wall of the mold due to the rotation.
Finished product
Once the rotation process is complete, the cooled, finished part is removed and is ready for final assembly.
HDPE thermoforming for robust and lightweight toilet cubicles
Thanks to the thermoforming process, we can produce large plastic parts from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) at low cost. HDPE gives our products high stability and low weight. Heating the plate
An HDPE sheet (High Density Polyethylene) in the desired color is placed in the thermoforming machine and heated to 120° C.
Deformation due to vacuum
The clamped sheet is now pulled over the tool with the aid of a vacuum, giving it the desired shape.
Cooling & removal
To ensure that the plastic part retains its shape, it is cooled and then removed from the mold using overpressure.
Milling into shape
Finally, the excess material is removed with a high-performance milling cutter and the product is given its final shape.
